The fonds consists of audio cassettes, which are correspondence tapes and narrative, research, and memoir tapes that Madzy created later in her life. The correspondence tapes were sent to friends and close family members. The fonds also included two of Madzy’s published books, Land for Our Sons (1958) and Madzy’s Dutch translation Land Voor Onze Zonen (1960), which have been catalogued separately for Research Collections.

It contains a signed pen sketch by Ronald Searle (1920-) dated Paris, 1956. The second accrual consists of two brief letters from Beckett to Diane Root. The collection has been supplemented by books which have been catalogued for Research Collections and periodicals which have not been catalogued.

There have been six accruals. The first accrual consists of manuscripts, correspondence, and Weed/Flower Press materials. The second accrual (17-1997) consists of manuscripts, correspondence, Weed/Flower Press materials, juvenilia and oversize. The third accrual (13-2000) consists of manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, and printed materials. The fourth accrual (13-2005) has been arranged in the following series: manuscripts, typescripts and proofs; correspondence; manuscripts by others; personal documents and other materials (includes photographs); posters. The fifth accrual (05-2011) consists of Ball’s business archives as an antiquarian bookseller of Canadian literature: William Nelson Books (1972-1985); Nelson Ball, Bookseller (1985-2010). The sixth accrual (2016-029) consists of manuscripts, typescripts and proofs for books of poetry and some prose.

There have been two accruals. The first accrual consists of correspondence, news, a few clippings and one manuscript. The second accrual consists of correspondence, manuscripts, news clippings, broadsides and posters, and photographs.

The second accrual (23-1996) consists of files from Allen's office in Queen's Park, covering the period 1982-1995. By and large this accrual consists of reports, briefs, news releases, press clippings, photocopies of internal memos, communiques, and printed matter. The original material consists of daily journals, correspondence to and from Allen to constituents and colleagues in the New Democratic Party, correspondence to and from federal cabinet ministers, holograph or typescript versions of speeches and notes. Frequently, incoming and outgoing correspondence is one of multiple copies. Original order has been maintained as much as possible in the arrangement of this accrual. The titles that appear on the files are the original titles. The series and subseries are organized in an attempt to reflect the career of Richard Allen: Series 1: in opposition 1982-1990; Subseries: Hamilton; education; Francophone affairs; Community and Social Services & Office of the Disabled; personal and administrative. Series 2: minister and member of government, 1990-1995. Subseries: Meech Lake and post-Meech Lake; Minister of Colleges & Universities; Minister Responsible for the Ontario Training & Adjustment Board; Minister of International Trade; Minister of Housing; Minister's administrative files. Series 3: sound recordings and videocassette, 1989-1995. It should be noted that a chronological arrangement within the sub-series has been attempted, in order to trace the prolific political endeavours of Allen. Box numbering in this accrual is sequential with the previous accrual. The third accrual (24-2000) consists of administrative files reflecting Allen's political activities sukch as council minutes, reports, election results, press releases and promotional materials. The accrual also contains files relating to GO-ALRT and the Canadian Porcelain Project.

The fonds consists of a letter from Brasch to John Masefield and a reply from Masefield, 1953; the draft of a letter from Brasch to John Steinbeck and a reply from Steinbeck, 1954. The fonds is supplemented by a photocopy of an article that Brasch wrote about Steinbeck in San Jose Studiesas well as an offprint of an article in Modern Language Notes by Fraser Bragg Drew which cites the Masefield letter.

Iris Amy Warden - Bettina Randall's Charges: A Story for Girls manuscript

Bettina Randall's Charges is the second part of an illustrated story for girls which also contains seven water-coloured illustrations and another seven India ink pen-and-ink drawings.
At end of ms.: "First Part commenced 1915. Second Part finished 1920 (aged 16)". A charming period piece of the Home Front, featuring Bettina, Pixie and Trixie, Lieutenant and Mrs. Lancing, Colette, Neanette and Ronnie. Chapter 1 entitled "Belgian Flag Day" and Chapter 3 "An Air Raid". Also contains a black-and-white studio portrait of Warden herself.

The collection consists of: an original photograph, the Simcoe family estate in Wolford, England, with a woman, possibly Mrs. Simcoe, on the front lawn; a handwritten copy of a letter from her daughter, Sophia Simcoe, originally written in June 1835, mentioning her mother and Mrs. Scadding; a typewritten extract from an article by Henry Crawford Scadding commenting on an event in Mrs. Simcoe's diary. The dates of creation of the latter two items are not known.
