          The collection consists mainly of Mansbridge's letters to Leonard Clark. There are also a few manuscripts concerning Mansbridge, Christmas cards, invitations, and announcements relating to Mansbridge, photographs of Mansbridge, and some pamphlets by Mansbridge. This collection was assembled by his friend Leonard Clark. Clark, an educator, author, editor and poet was born on 1 August 1905 in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. He was made inspector of schools with the Ministry of Education in 1936. He died in London in 1981.

          There have been six accruals. The first accrual contains typescripts. The second accrual contains correspondence. The third (28-1991) accrual is an autograph music manuscript. The fourth accrual (45-1995) is a letter from Burgess to William Cole. The fifth accrual (23-1991) consists of letter from Burgess in the personas of his cat Lalage, and his dog, Suke, to Cleo, the cat of Ceridwen Looker. Looker's mother was the sister of Burgess's first wife, Lynne, who died in 1965. The fifth accrual (05-1998) also contains an autograph music manuscript. The sixth accrual consists of correspondence between Burgess and William Ready, McMcaster University Librarian, one letter from Burgess to his publisher and two photographs.

          The fonds consists of Russell's manuscripts, correspondence, library, periodicals, offprints, leaflets, photographs, audio discs, audio reels, audio cassettes, films, videocassettes, microfilms, news clippings, posters, some furniture, artwork (including a bust by Jacob Epstein), awards and medals. Also included are records of the Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation, including those that relate to the International War Crimes Tribunal. The archive is supplemented by a supporting research library of books, theses about Russell, and his publications in periodicals. The fonds also contains the archives of Russell's parents, Viscount and Viscountess Amberley. The fonds has been supplemented with ongoing acquisitions of original material from a variety of sources, as well as copies of selected material held elsewhere.

The eighth accrual includes reviews, publications, and posters. The ninth accrual consists of the collected poems for Levenson's fourteenth volume of poetry, correspondence, and recordings. The tenth accrual consists of collected poems for Levenson’s fourteenth volume of poetry and correspondence. The eleventh accrual combines accessions 2020—015 and 2021-008. It consists of correspondence, poetry for Levenson’s fourteenth and fifteenth volumes; recordings and Dutch translation of Levenson’s book of poetry. The twelfth accrual is arranged into the following series: Writing; Literary activities; Society of Friends (Quakers); Teaching, Readings, Workshops and publications; Correspondence. The thirteenth accrual consists primarily of correspondence between Levenson and friends, other authors, publishers, academics, and select correspondence with politicians; this accrual also contains a small number of records pertaining to Levenson’s time as a student, his pre-academic employment, his tenure at Carleton, and his writing.

          The fonds consists of seven accruals. The first accrual measures 1.35 m, and consists of material relating to The Outport People and 7 journals. The second accrual measures 75 cm, and consists of material related to Pomp and Circumstances and 5 journals. The third accrual (02-1992) measures 66 cm, and is arranged in two series consisting of journals and correspondence. The fourth accrual (03-1993) measures 66 cm, and is arranged in three series consisting of: manuscripts, correspondence and journals. The fifth accrual (09-1997) measures 70 cm, and is arranged in four series consisting of: fan mail, fan mail to Farley Mowat answered by Claire Mowat, manuscripts and research material primarily devoted to Pomp and Circumstances, and journals. The sixth accrual (17-2006) measures 64 cm and consists of manuscripts and research material, predominantly drafts of the author's books Girl from Away, The French Islands, Last Summer in Louisbourg and Travels with Farley.
