            There have been two accruals which have been combined. The fonds is arranged into the following series: Correspondence; Published Work; Unpublished Material. The fonds contains various drafts of Morton's major books, manuscripts, editorial work, reviews, articles and lectures, unpublished manuscripts, research files, and material relating to Morton's teaching and conference participation. The fonds was supplemented by books from his library which were catalogued for the general stacks.

            Union générale des étudiants du Québec fonds consists of correspondence and printed materials, including bulletins, working papers and reports, constitution and bylaws, press releases, as well as some materials of an affiliated organization: l'association générale des étudiants de l'université de Montréal (AGEUM). The correspondence includes letters from Jean Lesage, Daniel Johnson, René Lévesque, Bernard Landry, then president of AGUEM, and others.

            The archive contains a drawing by Ting, titled 'Red sails in the sunset'. It is drawn with ink and charcoal pencil with white watercolour on cardboard. It depicts Communist China setting sail on Nationalist China which is disappearing into the ocean.

            The collection consists of an Ontario Provincial Police report of a meeting held by Tim Buck in 1939, 4 audio discs duplicated onto 2 audio cassettes containing speeches by Buck, a printed foreword by Buck to litho prints by Avrom Yanovksy as well as the prints, and fourteen b&w photographs concerning the Labor-Progressive Party, Today Magazine, and the International Economic Conference in Moscow in 1952. The Conference proceedings are also included in the collection as well as an offprint of an article by Buck.

            The collection consists of 23 letters from McGee to John O'Donohoe (1824-1902), a senator.The McGee collection also contains the research materials of J. Alexander Wallace, M.P., who wrote a Master's thesis on McGee at McMaster University in 1916. The materials include: correspondence, interview notes with John M. McGee, half-brother of Thomas D'Arcy McGee, typed copy of a letter from McGee to A. M. Sullivan, editor, Nation, Dublin, 25 June 1866, and research notes concerning McGee and Whelan.             The two booklets, with covers and dues stamps, were issued by the Dominion Executive Committee of the SDPC to Ted Grydzian (spelling varies) of the Ukrainian Local No. 81 in Welland, Ont.

            The Queen vs. William Rogers, Bill of Treason

            The item is a Bill of Treason written on parchment against William Rogers. He is described as “not having the fear of God in his heart but being moved and seduced by the instigation of the Devil”. It is stated he wished to “depose our said Lady the Queen … and to bring and put our said Lady the Queen to death.” He was specifically charged with offences that took place before, after and on 4 December [1837] in the Township of York. They included plotting an insurrection against the Queen, persuading others to join this insurrection, and assembling, with around fifty others, armed with guns, muskets, rifles, bullets, bayonets, swords, pikes and other weapons. The document is signed by the jury foreman, J. W. Gamble, and witnesses.
