There is one photo of a group of nine men, none of them are identified, but it is titled “Standard Steel, Port Robinson Ont.” The photo is circa 1912. There are three photographs of the Falls View Bridge when it collapsed in 1938 which were taken by John A. Cowan of Welland and sent to Haviland. A few of the older photos also bear his initials.

The Conference proceedings are also included in the collection as well as an offprint of an article by Buck.

Clingan that discusses him during World War I, and a third letter from a pal of his written on 9 January 1916. There are sixteen letters written by his son-in-law Lt. Graphic material includes a portrait of Clingan during World War II taken in Kirkgate, Yorks. and a caricature of him (pencil, ink, water-colour) at Aldershot in 1941. There are photographs of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa in 1940 and 1942; the Stoney Creek Band; the 260th Barracks, 2nd River; a Canadian troopship bound for Siberia; picture postcards of Vladivostock, and unidentified military photographs. Most of the photographs were removed from frames – numbers are written on the verso but their meaning is not known. Also in the fonds is a photograph of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, at a military base, a kilt pin, printed “Returned Soldiers’ Insurance” certificates issued to Clingan in 1930, and a printed issue of the Cameron Highlanders’ Journal from 1939. Clingan’s medals were sold at Bonhams in May 2009 and do not form part of this fonds.

The collection consists mainly of Mansbridge's letters to Leonard Clark. There are also a few manuscripts concerning Mansbridge, Christmas cards, invitations, and announcements relating to Mansbridge, photographs of Mansbridge, and some pamphlets by Mansbridge. This collection was assembled by his friend Leonard Clark. Clark, an educator, author, editor and poet was born on 1 August 1905 in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. He was made inspector of schools with the Ministry of Education in 1936. He died in London in 1981.
