Biographical history
Lettice O'Hanlon of Orior, also called Lettice O'Hanlon, was the great-great-grandniece of Major General Henry Pringle. Pringle, born ca. 1727 in Ireland, served for many years in the military in North America. He later served in Spain.

The fonds consists of O'Hanlon's annotated typescript of the letter book of Henry Pringle from 1747 to 1782, her research notes, and correspondence concerning the Pringle family. O'Hanlon used the pen name of Elizabeth Evory for the typescript.
