Manuscript contains regulations, laws and pleas of various types from the municipal laws of England from the reign of William III (Brevium, procepionem, placitorum, diversi generis, secundum jus municipale).

Immediate source of acquisition
Manuscript presumably was acquired from Barry Brown in the late 1960s. It was purchased by an unknown owner in London on 5 November 1855. A previous owner was A. V. Radford.
Arrangement
Stamped on spine: Brevium et placitorum formulae reg. Will. III. There is an alpabetical index of legal terms at the front of the manuscript, followed by the statues of William's reign, numbered 1-88, followed by a section on pleas with leaves numbered 1-32. At the back of the manuscript is an alphabetical index of places, followed by a series of legal terms with explanatory citations.
