The fonds contains correspondence between Evelyn Mae Kapitain and her brother Charles G. Kapitain during his time served in the AEF. Also included are military associated letters and documents, newspaper clippings, two German postcards found in the Argonne Woods and US military postcards to Evelyn Kapitain from an unknown individual.

Evans familyThe letter he wrote is dated June 1915 somewhere in France and is addressed to Mrs. Newell. The letter concerns the death of her son, Lawrence Gunn Newell, on 23 April 1915 from wounds sustained during the advance on Ypres. The letter also concerns another son, Claude, and other soldiers from the Watford area. The Newell brothers were the sons of Thomas and Sarah Newell. Gunn Newell was the first Lambton County solider to die in the Great War. Copeland asks her to have the essence of his letter printed in the Watford newspaper.

McGregor, Douglas U.Fonds consists of a minute book, five letters, 1916-1918, notes, and news clippings. The minutes cover the period from December 1915 to October 1918; the last set of minutes is found loose in the minute book. The bound minute book commences with a name index of those who appeared before the tribunal.

Atkinson, Christopher ThomasThe fonds consists of correspondence, photographs and artwork. There are three letters associated with Clingan: one letter he wrote as a child to his father, one letter from A. Clingan that discusses him during World War I, and a third letter from a pal of his written on 9 January 1916. There are sixteen letters written by his son-in-law Lt. Colin Murray to his wife from Hannover in 1953. Graphic material includes a portrait of Clingan during World War II taken in Kirkgate, Yorks. and a caricature of him (pencil, ink, water-colour) at Aldershot in 1941. There are photographs of the Cameron Highlanders of Ottawa in 1940 and 1942; the Stoney Creek Band; the 260th Barracks, 2nd River; a Canadian troopship bound for Siberia; picture postcards of Vladivostock, and unidentified military photographs. Most of the photographs were removed from frames – numbers are written on the verso but their meaning is not known. Also in the fonds is a photograph of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, at a military base, a kilt pin, printed “Returned Soldiers’ Insurance” certificates issued to Clingan in 1930, and a printed issue of the Cameron Highlanders’ Journal from 1939. Clingan’s medals were sold at Bonhams in May 2009 and do not form part of this fonds.
Clingan familyFonds consists of two b&w photographs which depict Timmons standing beside and sitting in his airplane at Camp Borden in Ontario and a Royal Flying Corps identification bracelet. Fonds also contains an explanatory letter from R. Slobodin to William Ready of McMaster University.
Timmons, Clifford E.The fonds consists of a biographical sketch of Dr. Totton, his Royal Army Medical Corps certificate of commission, his Canadian army Medical Corps certificate of commission issued retroactively, a Christmas entertainment program from the No. 8 General Hospital, Boisguillaume, France, a photocopy of one page from the University of Toronto Roll of Service, trench maps, photographs, including hospitals in France, and post cards.
