This archive consists of one letter written by Mamiya to Anne Brydon in 1980. The letter is a response to a series of Brydon's questions and outlines the personal and intellectual influences in Mamiya's music.

The archive contains a drawing by Ting, titled 'Red sails in the sunset'. It is drawn with ink and charcoal pencil with white watercolour on cardboard. It depicts Communist China setting sail on Nationalist China which is disappearing into the ocean.

Contains a letter written by Leon Trotsky to the Student League of Canada.

This album was given to Kennedy, who lived in Collingwood, Ont., for Christmas 1912. The album contains b&w photographs that depict life there as well as trips to Wasaga Beach and the Nottawasaga River, Peterborough, Niagara Falls and Port Dalhousie, and Porcupine. The album arrived unbound so the order of the pages may not be correct. Notable photographs include Wahnapitae Camp, the 1912 flood, lakes ships such as the Turret Chief, the City of Midland and Dalhousie City, as well as the Bank of Ottawa in Porcupine. Some of Kennedy’s friends or family are identified in the album : various members of the Beasley family, Leila Ironside, Nettie McLeod, Leon Bosdet, V. Fitzgerald., Grace Stubbs, Miss Whalen, O.W. Wylde, Miss Richardson, Dorothy Mair, MacKay family, and Josephine White. Presumably it is Kennedy who appears with the caption “And now I wear the kilts”; there is another photograph where he is with V. Fitzgerald. Most photographs are not captioned.

Palm leaf book, 99 leaves. with two rectangular pieces of wood which act as covers, 3 cm x 43 cm. The manuscript edges may be decorated with a dark blue or purple or are undecorated.

Manuscript textbook on rhetoric and grammar, with text in Latin and examples in Latin and French. French examples include excerpts from the works of Nicolas Boileau-Despréaux, Jean Racine, and Antoinette de Lafon de Boisguérin des Houlières. Likely produced by a Francophone individual in the province of Lower Canada between the end of the eighteenth century and the War of 1812.

Report, prepared by a Lieutenant Colonel of the Royal Army Service Corps stationed in Baghdad, describing the performance and maintenance record of military vehicles in Mesopotamia and Persia. It is dated 20 March 1919 and was sent to A.D.T, M.T, at General Headquarters. It contains a complete and detailed report on the work of this depot from 2 March 1918 to 31 January 1919.Carbon typescript, unsigned, 80 pages, plus tabulated lists, drawings, etc., pp. 81-108, followed by drawings, numbered 1-24, of automotive parts and shops.

Manuscript document issued by the Governor of the state of Maranhão in Brasil, José Thomas de Menezes. The document concerns the Portuguese in England. It is written on one leaf of paper, folded in half; the text covers 3 pages.

This hand-lettered and illuminated book was presented to the Duke of Connaught to commemorate his visit to Hamilton.

The fonds consists of the log of H.M.S. Amethyst, covering the period 9 November 1859 to 22 December 1860. It contains 93 pages of text, drawings, and maps which are listed below. The log begins with the ship at anchor at Mazatlan, Mexico. On 21 June the ship leaves Mexico for Panama, and proceeds on to Valparaiso, Chile, and then Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The ship then returns home to England, arriving at Plymouth, and then going on to Margarte, and finally Chatham. The final entry in the log is: "put ship out of commission".

This journal covers the period June 1828 to 29 August 1828. It concerns the author's journey, by sailing yacht, from England to other countries, including Sweden, Denmark and Germany. The manuscript is bound, illustrated by drawings, 68 pages in length, with some leaves left blank.

The notebook titled "Royal Air Force Note Book for Workshop and Laboratory Records", dated 10 April 1940. It contains his notes on tools, carpentry, airplane construction, and hydraulics, as well as many diagrams and sketches, usually coloured.

The item consists of a signed photograph mounted on cardboard: b&w; 14 × 9.7 cm. The photograph is of Bourinot at the age of two years and seven months. The photographer is: Toplay, 132 Sparks St., Ottawa.

The scrapbook contains approximately 55 black and white photos (approximately half are originals, the others are good quality reproductions), 3 colour photographs, news clippings, maps, and other material related to the Battalion.

A 94 page manuscript of "Josie" by Maureen Duffy. The play was broadcast on television in 1961.

The letter concerns Graves' view of poetry and the availability of his own poetry, presumably in response to a request from Vallette.
