The third accrual (02-1992) measures 66 cm, and is arranged in two series consisting of journals and correspondence. The fourth accrual (03-1993) measures 66 cm, and is arranged in three series consisting of: manuscripts, correspondence and journals. The fifth accrual (09-1997) measures 70 cm, and is arranged in four series consisting of: fan mail, fan mail to Farley Mowat answered by Claire Mowat, manuscripts and research material primarily devoted to Pomp and Circumstances, and journals. The sixth accrual (17-2006) measures 64 cm and consists of manuscripts and research material, predominantly drafts of the author's books Girl from Away, The French Islands, Last Summer in Louisbourg and Travels with Farley.

The fonds consists of material created during Farr’s career. The McGill University Press material includes the initial proposal document, newspaper clippings, early design prototypes, and graphic materials produced by the press (page proofs, invitations, greeting cards, prints of R.D. Wilson artwork). The Ryerson Press material includes two logo blocks (publisher’s device), newspaper clippings, and various administrative files. Also included in the fonds: correspondence with Marsh Jeanneret, Donald Sutherland, Dick Wilson and W.H. Clarke from Clarke, Irwin & Co. Ltd.; photographs; an unpublished manuscript entitled The Crooked Axe: A Lighthearted Sketch of Canadian History to 1900 written by Farr in 2008 (unpublished at time of this description), and a copy of The Living Past of Montreal, McGill University Press, 1964, drawn by R.D. Wilson, described by Eric McLean.

Blanche and Edward Frappier fonds

The fonds largely consists of letters written by Edward to Blanche Frappier while Edward served at the HMCS Cornwallis, HMCS Stadacona, and HMCS Scotian shore-based training facilities in Nova Scotia. Letters were also written during Edward’s service on the HMCS Kenogami and the HMCS Glace Bay. These letters are addressed to Blanche while she resided in the Trinity Barracks in Long Branch, Ontario. There is one letter to Edward from Blanche, 26 July 1945.

The first accrual consists of records associated with the Public Service Alliance of Canada (the strike of the Clerical and Regulatory Group in September-October 1980; the national strike of federal employees in September 1991) and the Canadian Union of Labour Employees (negotiations and agreements between 1982 to 1986). It also contains material on union activity in the Caribbean countries, the Commonwealth Trade Union Council, and the Mayor’s Committee on Community, Race, and Ethnic Relations in North York.

The second accrual consists of the following five series: Public Alliance of Canada (PSAC) Triannual Convention, Toronto, 1982; PSAC National Conference of Education Programs and other, 1990-1999; PSAC National Conference of Regional Reps and Regional Conference of Ontario, 1991-1994; Canadian Union of Labour Employees (CULE) and Commonwealth Trade Union council and Caribbean projects 1985-2009.

The third accrual consists of manuals for the instructors of internal union courses and education programs. The third accrual is arranged by organization, with PSAC coming first, and the others following alphabetically. The material arrived in binders and has been placed in folders for preservation reasons.

There have been four accruals. The first accrual consists of offprints of Dr. Salmon's many articles, his degrees and awards. There is also one letter from Cesare Canessa to Arthur J. Evans of the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, dated 6 December 1893. This accrual was supplemented by eight books from Dr. Salmon's library which have been catalogued. The second accrual contains articles, reviews, speeches, correspondence, awards, photographs and other documents. The third accrual is Salmon's Cambridge University thesis. The fourth accrual contains seven letters from Salmon to Eric D. Tappe.

The third accrual consists of four series: collected poems; manuscripts and typescripts; other literary activities; correspondence. The fourth accrual consists of four series: manuscripts, collected poems, sound recording, personal and literary correspondence. The fifth accrual consists of three series: writings, correspondence, and other work. The sixth accrual contains writing and correspondence. The seventh accrual consists of the collected poems for Levenson's thirteenth volume of poetry, as well as correspondence, recordings, and teaching material. The eighth accrual includes reviews, publications, and posters. The ninth accrual consists of the collected poems for Levenson's fourteenth volume of poetry, correspondence, and recordings. The tenth accrual consists of collected poems for Levenson’s fourteenth volume of poetry and correspondence. The eleventh accrual combines accessions 2020—015 and 2021-008. It consists of correspondence, poetry for Levenson’s fourteenth and fifteenth volumes; recordings and Dutch translation of Levenson’s book of poetry. The twelfth accrual is arranged into the following series: Writing; Literary activities; Society of Friends (Quakers); Teaching, Readings, Workshops and publications; Correspondence. The thirteenth accrual consists primarily of correspondence between Levenson and friends, other authors, publishers, academics, and select correspondence with politicians; this accrual also contains a small number of records pertaining to Levenson’s time as a student, his pre-academic employment, his tenure at Carleton, and his writing.
