Some of the materials, mostly photographs, are copies from various institutions in Canada and the United States. The fonds documents certification drives and strikes (such as Bell Canada, Eaton’s, Gainers and CIBC) throughout the 1970s and 1980s.There are documents relating to the unions Seymour worked for as well as the United Farm Workers of America.There is also material relating to the founding of the New Democratic Party as well as photographs unrelated to labour, mainly aboriginals (First Nations).
