The collection consists of correspondence with William Ready, 1953-1964; tss. articles by Ready about Girard; ca. 20 serigraphs; 9 pencil sketches of Thomas More Ready; 14 colour slides; 8 b&w photographs; cards designed by Girard; and printed materials, including conference program, two periodicals, and a pamphlet by Jacques Maritain.

There have been six accruals. The first accrual consists of manuscripts, correspondence, and Weed/Flower Press materials. The second accrual (17-1997) consists of manuscripts, correspondence, Weed/Flower Press materials, juvenilia and oversize. The third accrual (13-2000) consists of manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, and printed materials. The fourth accrual (13-2005) has been arranged in the following series: manuscripts, typescripts and proofs; correspondence; manuscripts by others; personal documents and other materials (includes photographs); posters. The fifth accrual (05-2011) consists of Ball’s business archives as an antiquarian bookseller of Canadian literature: William Nelson Books (1972-1985); Nelson Ball, Bookseller (1985-2010). The sixth accrual (2016-029) consists of manuscripts, typescripts and proofs for books of poetry and some prose.

The collection consists of 3 poems written by Corrigan, a photograph of Mitchinson, Mitchison's letter to Corrigan, and Corrigan's thesis.

The series was acquired with Archives 2, the print finding aid for which states: “There are ... files dealing specifically with conferences sponsored, the Foundation’s directors and advisers, its executive officers (Christopher Farley and Ralph Schoenman), and efforts to win the Nobel Peace Prize for Russell. In one file (London School of Economics meeting, 1965) there is a reading text in Edith Russell’s hand of Russell’s speech entitled “The Labour Party’s Foreign Policy”. In another there is the Foundation Bulletin, vol. 1, no. 1 (February 1960), with various pre-publication versions. The contents of the files are listed [in the print finding aid] on the basis of the first appearance of a given correspondent in a given file."

The fonds contains C.L.M. circulars, C.L.M. administrative files, NC Press and New Canada files, C.L.M. audio cassettes, material received, subject files, and publications received, realia (flags), typescripts, notes, posters, news clippings and other printed materials. The fonds contains a considerable amount of trade union materials.

The collection reflects Harvey Feit’s work with Eeyou (Cree) governments and communities in Eeyou Istchee (primarily Northern Québec), particularly around the creation and implementation of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement. The collection consists of the following: academic papers; reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes from Eeyou negotiators and governments; legal records, including factums and transcripts of witness testimonies for various court cases; and news clippings.

The collection includes annual meeting minutes, Board of Directors minutes and statements, committee meeting minutes, correspondence, pamphlets, and other materials including documents concerning Exchange for Political Ideals in Canada, (Epic), a society sponsored by OWMF.

The series was acquired with Archives 2, the print finding aid for which states: “ Correspondence between Russell and his staff and various persons who were members of the [International War Crimes] Tribunal. The files reveal that the idea of the Tribunal was first put forth in 1965. The correspondence ends in 1968 with Russell still hopeful for peace in Vietnam. He wrote to Gunther Anders: 'The present generation of Americans is, after all, the first to challenge the fundamental premises of the Cold War. The resurrection of critical thinking in the American universities offers some promise for the future.'" Letters from Russell and his staff are typescript copies; also includes photocopies of some incoming correspondence.

Series consists of approximately 500 cards congratulating Russell on his birthdays over the years 1950-1969. Includes cards from family members, friends, and other individuals and organizational bodies. Most were acquired with Archives 1, while a few cards dated 1961 were acquired with Archives 2.

The fonds consists of broadcast scripts, typescripts of several short stories and articles, and a small amount of unlisted correspondence.

The fonds consists mainly of book manuscripts including The Stone Angel (1964), A Jest of God (1966), Long Drums and Cannons (1966), The Fire Dwellers (1969), A Bird in the House (1970), The Diviners (1974) and Heart of a Stranger (1976). The audio cassette, disc and reel are of songs from The Diviners.

The fonds consists of minute books, attendance books, affiliation certificates and election results.

The archive contains a drawing by Ting, titled 'Red sails in the sunset'. It is drawn with ink and charcoal pencil with white watercolour on cardboard. It depicts Communist China setting sail on Nationalist China which is disappearing into the ocean.

The fonds consists of three slip-cased, bound minute books: 4 January 1949-5 December 1964; December 1964-17 December 1980; 21 January 1981-17 September 1991; 15 October 1991-16 March 1993. The latter two contain financial statements.
