The archive consists of 21 diaries spanning 1920-1940 which cover both Nunn’s personal and business affairs. There is some correspondence including letters from Grey Owl and Jack Miner. There is only a little material related to his work outside of the diaries, but there are two Halliday company catalogues.

The fonds consists of one bound ledger book with the handwritten title “Blotter, 3 August 1850 to 31 January 1851 hand [?] letter book, 15 Fbry [February] 1851”. On the verso is the printed title “Legislative Council of Upper Canada … 1833”. The book’s pages contain financial records. Pasted into the book is correspondence to and from Montreal, Toronto, London, Detroit and other cities, circulars, invoices, statements, cheques, receipts , as well as a legal summons. The dates of the contents are more expansive than the handwritten title. The spelling of Deaubin’s last name varies; Deaubin is how he signed his correspondence.

The fonds is contained in a green leather album trimmed in gold. It consists of correspondence mostly addressed to Katharine Birkmyre, although a few letters are addressed to her father, Canon Skelton and to her husband. It also includes invitations, dinner menus and autographs, two photographs of the Red Cross Hospital in Gibraltar, and her admission badge to the Royal enclosure at the Ascot races in 1937. There is one letter from Archibald Philip Primrose, Earl of Rosebery and another from Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman, both prime ministers, to Henry Birkmyre. Both letters concern Birkmyre's defeats in elections held in 1895 and 1899. There is also one letter from Edmund Gosse, poet and man of letters, addressed to Lady Charnwood. The album has been annotated by Katharine Birkmyre.

Thomson at Mount St. Eloi Cemetery; (12) black notebook of WWI news clippings and other clippings of the period; (13) ephemeral publications, including Thanksgiving Service Canadian Corps Vimy Ridge (April 9th 1917), Regimental Songs Canadian Expeditionary Force 1914-1915, The 1st Canadian Division in the Battle of 1918, The Listening Post (no. 22, 15 February 1917), The Rose of No Man’s Land (music score), Bruce Bairnsfather’s Fragments from France, part VI, and the War Pictorial (embarkation number, part four); (14) WWI medal and brass buttons from Stephenson’s coat; (15) discharge certificate, 2 June 1919; (16) information about Stephenson’s war record from Gwendoline Stephenson, his daughter, and a copy of Stephenson’s attestation papers.

The fonds consists of a bound manuscript, 48 pages in length, titled "A tour through part of Switzerland and the glaciers of Savoy & Berne in a letter to Richard Cox Esq." The manuscript is not dated, but can be deduced from references in the text. The trip took place after the death of Voltaire in 1778 but before the climbing of Mont Blanc which occurred in 1786. The mention of a Dr. Michael Schüppach, age 72, suggests the year 1779, which is confirmed by the indication that October 5th is a Tuesday. The manuscript is signed by Ralph Sheldon.

Fenton kept a journal of the voyage. In additon, letters to friends that he wrote after his arrival in Quebec, and then from York in 1822 and 1826 are contained in the journal as well as an untitled poem and the musical score for "The Indian Hymn". Two leaves of the journal are badly torn. Many leaves are left blank. The inscription on the inside front cover is: "Transaction book of the Druids-in-deed".

The archive covers the records of the churches as well as non-active diocesan records.

The archives consists of correspondence and other material related to Stuart Ivison’s service during the war. He wrote home to his wife regularly, and often letters to his children, which comprise the bulk of the collection. There are also letters from his wife and other correspondents. Additionally, there is material from a scrapbook put together by Ivison of highlight from the war. Many of the occasions are mentioned in the oral history found in Box 2, File 25.

The fonds consists of audio cassettes, which are correspondence tapes and narrative, research, and memoir tapes that Madzy created later in her life. The diaries do include several other poems composed by Stephens. The fonds also includes a charcoal drawing of Stephens, a copy of Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress that was read to Stephens as a child, biographical information, documents relating to various family members, and other material.
