The collection reflects Harvey Feit’s work with Eeyou (Cree) governments and communities in Eeyou Istchee (primarily Northern Québec), particularly around the creation and implementation of the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement. The collection consists of the following: academic papers; reports, correspondence, and meeting minutes from Eeyou negotiators and governments; legal records, including factums and transcripts of witness testimonies for various court cases; and news clippings.

The collection consists of two accruals. The first accrual consists of correspondence and publications by the brothers as well as publications about them. The accrual has been arranged into the following series: John Cowper Powys; Theodore Francis Powys; Llewelyn Powys; Writings by A.R. Powys; Writings about the Powys family and their works; Periodicals. The second accrual consists of two items, an autograph letter and postcard written by Llewelyn Powys.

The collection consists of Windridge’s war medals and various military and civilian pins and badges, various service records and discharge papers and a couple of photographs. Included is a matchbox, with a holder made by Windridge with a small Scottie dog figurine, which must have been a good luck charm for him. There is also correspondence mostly from Windridge and his wife to his daughter during the period of the Second World War.

The collection consists mainly of mimeographed and printed materials. There is a very small amount of correspondence. The collection has been supplemented by serials which have been catalogued for Research Collections.

The collection consists of typescripts, correspondence, photographs, scrapbooks, reports, sheet music, printed materials (Canada, Britain, Australia and the United States) and uncatalogued pamphlets (some in German) pertaining mainly to Britain's participation in World War II. The collection is supplemented by books which have been catalogued for Archives and Research Collections, including a full set of the British Official History of the War, unit and regimental histories, biographies and autobiographies, and volumes on the various battles and operations of the British forces. There is also a poster collection which contains one photograph (#C24).

The collection consists of correspondence, poetry, and Gauntlet Press broadsheets, sent to Christina Duff Stewart by Richard Outram and Barbara Howard. There are also various printed items collected by Stewart about the couple. The collection also includes books, catalogued for Archives and Research Collections.

This collection consists primarily of illustrative labels from cigar boxes manufactured by cigar companies in the United States in the last decade of the nineteenth century when cigar companies became aware of the importance of advertising their products to a large number of discriminating cigar smokers. The major companies were: Geo. S. Harris & Sons, Lith. Phila.; L.E. Neumann & Co.; Schumacher & Ettinger N.Y.; and Schmidt & Co. With regard to Canadian cigar companies, Adam Beck. London Ont. is represented, and there is also a box lid from Joseph Winterhalt of Berlin (now Kitchener), Ont. The labels were lithographed with original designs and often patriotic motifs: young women, historical figures, heroes of battles, native people, sports and leisure, Cuba and the Caribbean, and events of the day. There have been two accruals. The Judaica collection is concerned with Jewish people, organizations, Palestine and Israel. Some of the documents in the first accrual are Holocaust items. The collection contains documents written in 18 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Hebrew, Yiddish, Arabic, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Serbian, Dutch, Slovakian, Romanian, Latin. The collection was compiled by Morris Norman. All selling information has been retained in the files.

The collection comprises records related to Seth’s illustrations and design work for ten of Stuart McLean’s Vinyl Cafe books and audio recordings. Documentary forms include production notes, original illustrations, overlays for printing, and colour chips.

Collection consists of scripts and artwork from two of Ho Che Anderson’s comics: I Want to Be Your Dog (an erotic comic originally published in five issues from 1990-1991 and later released as a collected edition in 1996) and Miles from Home (published as a digital edition in 2013).

The collection consists of a vast range of records and documents created throughout the University's existence, both in Hamilton and Toronto. However, it is not a complete record of the University's activities.

Collection contains original artwork and copies of posters for the McMaster Campus Cinema screening program; posters or comic art created or collected by Art Cooper; and fanzines and mini comics created in the Southern Ontario region, particularly in the early 1970s.

The collection mainly concerns the formation of an Employees’ Collective Bargaining Committee for the workers in Sault Ste. Marie in December 1941 and the negotiations which followed, culminating in a contract in July1943. The collection contains correspondence, labour legislation documents, draft agreements and other materials, and the completed contract. Correspondents include: Leo H. Timmins; Norman W. Bryne, Secretary; R.O. Denman, Vice-President, Managing Director and Treasurer; officials at the Department of Labour; and others. The collection also contains a Progress Report issued in 1934; a Balance Sheet and Notice of Annual Meeting in 1938; and two undated typescripts written during Word War II. One typescript concerns the development of the company in Sault Ste. Marie. The other is not specifically company related and concerns the struggle of tyranny against democracy.

The b&w photographs depict the survey and construction of secondary rail lines in South Saskatchewan from April to July 1930. They were removed from several pages of an album with the heading “C.P.R. Survey”. Beneath this heading was a photograph of Engine 562. The photographs were taken in Coderre, Alma Lake, Fife Lake, Rockglen and surrounding area. Some of the photographs were printed in Regina. Most of the photographs have descriptive captions written on the verso in pen and pencil in seven different hands with separate numbering sequences. They include photographs of the following: tent camps, pile drivers, horses and wagons (bulldozing, grading), people (including the Chinese cook Jim, Cederic White Rodman, Eddie Sellors, George Lowry, “your son” and “me”), laying of ties and steel, a CPR construction coal shed, surveying, Lake Alma, Coderre, Fife Lake and Rockglen. The rail locations are all south of Regina. The lines that run through Coderre and Alma Lake are abandoned. Rockglen still has a working CPR line although there is an abandoned line just to the west. Fife Lake does not appear on this abandoned rail lines map.

The stock share certificate is stamped "cancelled".

The collection consists of manuscripts. There have been three accruals which have been combined.

This collection of Canadian postcards was pieced together by Morris Norman, a Toronto chartered accountant and notable collector of Canadiana, over a period of 30 years. The cards were purchased by Mr. Norman from postcard and antiquarian dealers. The cards cover many subjects: sports; aerial views, transportation; disasters; military; union; police; construction projects; suffragettes; agriculture; businesses; bands and parades; Natives; forestry; etc. Some cards were mass-produced by companies in series, and some were done by local studios and photographers, often at the request of individuals or businesses.
