There have been two accruals. The first (00-1994) measures 40 cm, and is arranged into the following series: minutes; labour negotiations; grievances; financial; correspondence, bylaws, senority and officer lists; employer relations. The second (13-1999) has not yet been arranged or described.

The collection consists of 23 letters that Jefferys wrote to Thomas Melville Bailey, 4 January 1943 to 7 October 1944. Bailey wrote a number of books on Hamilton history, including its Presbyterian churches and Dundurn Castle, as well as editing The Dictionary of Hamilton Biography.

The fonds consists of New's research materials for his book on Brougham including microfilms of Brougham correspondence held by the University of London, the British Museum, and the Library of Congress, microfilm printouts, research notes and a small amount of correspondence concerning the book, and a draft preface for the book.

(30 March 1919) and the Siberian Sapper, 1, no. 4 (8 February 1919); (5) an address book; (6 and 7) Russian religious icons; (8) photocopies of military documents about Stephenson; (9) The War Graves of the British Empire (1931, see p. 24 for Stephenson) and a colour photograph [200-] of the WWI monument in Burlington, Ont.

The collection consists of maps from the First World War.

The fonds consists of one membership and dues bound register, January 1929 to September 1930.

A 94 page manuscript of "Josie" by Maureen Duffy. The play was broadcast on television in 1961.

The letter concerns Graves' view of poetry and the availability of his own poetry, presumably in response to a request from Vallette.

An item of personal correspondence from Francis Richard Charles Grant to Sir Thomas Wemyss Reid.

The album contains eight portrait photographs of Lorraine taken by Charles A. Aylett, The Hardy Studio, and the Bain Studio. Each portrait has her name and the dates 1914-1932 stamped in gold. The first leaf of the album contains an unsigned poem of remembrance, titled “Lorraine”. It was possibly written by Wilson MacDonald. Found loose in the album was a poem written by MacDonald for Percy Gardiner. This poem has been placed in the Wilson MacDonald collection. Also in the album is a card, dated 1901, certifying that Mrs. Phillip Gardiner of Mount Forest is a member of the Methodist Church Twentieth Century Fund.

Manuscript of The Visual Arts of the South West Pacific.

Manuscript is a fair copy of letters and accounts which were published as Letters, Remarks, &c. with a view to open an extensive trade in the article of tin, from the County of Cornwall to India, Persia, and China, compiled by George Unwin (London: W. and J. Stratford, 1790). The manuscript was owned with a print copy of the book (catalogued as <a href="http://catalogue.mcmaster.ca/catalogue/Record/807616">B18058</a> and part of the library of the future King George IV).

The additional letter explains that the ms copy was found with"some old papers" at the Board of Trade offices. The letter from a Mr. Williams was sent to William George Anderson, the Auditor of the Duchy of Cornwall (1851-1891).

The fonds consists of two charters: one, dated 1 January 1943, issued by the United Rubber Workers of America to Local 113; the second, dated 27 June 1960, issued by the United Rubber, Cork, Linoleum and Plastic Workers of America to Local 113.

To date, the collection consists of one item only, the newspaper La Voce De La Patria: Giornale Clandestino dei soldati italiani intelligent, February, 1945. This newspaper was also used as safe conduct for soldiers joining the partisans or the Allies.
