The collection consists of the manuscript of The Informer as well as five letters. The manuscript is contained in five school-exercise books; there is also a typescript of chapters 1-3, with numerous holograph corrections, 27 pages. There are four letter from Arthur Rogers to Walter Hill, 1926-1927 and one letter from O'Flaherty to Arthur Rogers, 1927.

The collection consists of 23 letters from McGee to John O'Donohoe (1824-1902), a senator.The McGee collection also contains the research materials of J. Alexander Wallace, M.P., who wrote a Master's thesis on McGee at McMaster University in 1916. The materials include: correspondence, interview notes with John M. McGee, half-brother of Thomas D'Arcy McGee, typed copy of a letter from McGee to A. M. Sullivan, editor, Nation, Dublin, 25 June 1866, and research notes concerning McGee and Whelan. The collection is mainly concerned with Blake's visit to Toronto in September and October of 1899 and Cronin's wish that the visit serve as expression of support for Irish Home Rule. Besides correspondence between Cronin and Blake, the collection contains a holograph copy of a letter from Lord John Russell (1792-1878) dated 16 October 1839 letters from Senator John O'Donohoe and various notes for speeches by Cronin, one dated as late as 30 May 1919.

The two booklets, with covers and dues stamps, were issued by the Dominion Executive Committee of the SDPC to Ted Grydzian (spelling varies) of the Ukrainian Local No. 81 in Welland, Ont.

The item is a Bill of Treason written on parchment against William Rogers. He is described as “not having the fear of God in his heart but being moved and seduced by the instigation of the Devil”. It is stated he wished to “depose our said Lady the Queen … and to bring and put our said Lady the Queen to death.” He was specifically charged with offences that took place before, after and on 4 December [1837] in the Township of York. They included plotting an insurrection against the Queen, persuading others to join this insurrection, and assembling, with around fifty others, armed with guns, muskets, rifles, bullets, bayonets, swords, pikes and other weapons. The document is signed by the jury foreman, J. W. Gamble, and witnesses.

The document also contains a partial list of witnesses.

The overwhelming majority of the collection deals with Canada. The subject matter is varied, and deals with many aspects of Canadian history, literature, social and political conditions. Included are pamphlets on religion and churches, all levels of government, elections, peace movements and war service, Communism, local communities and labour organizations to name but a few of the topics covered. Approximately 250 pamphlets date from before 1867. Several of the pamphlets are in the French language. Some pamphlets in this numbered collection have no relation to Canada; they are mainly British and American although a number of pamphlets concern Cuba and Third World countries. At least one pamphlet about Ireland is in Gaelic; a few pamphlets are in other languages.

The collection of 13 posters concern Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Venezuela, the Congo, Cuba, Palestine, as well as African-Americans and Asians, guerrilla fighters, and the Tricontinental third anniversary.
