The correspondence concerns the formation of the Toronto chapter of the Independent Socialists, highlights some of the activities of the Vancouver chapter, including an expulsion, and discusses the distribution of literature, particularly information about the plight of workers in Portugal. The minutes cover the period from December 1915 to October 1918; the last set of minutes is found loose in the minute book. The bound minute book commences with a name index of those who appeared before the tribunal.

Denis ApIvor, an English composer and musicologist, gathered together a variety of materials relating to Van Dieren and Darton. The collection includes correspondence about the men and their music, original letters by Darnton, biographical materials, information about their compositions and performances of their works and edited (limited) editions of their compositions, prepared by ApIvor himself.

There is also an oversize drawing of the de Havilland Mosquito IV printed from The Aeroplane, England, 7 May 1943. The second accrual measures 5 cm, 1927-1958. It consists of photographs, pamphlets and newsletters. There are photographs of the Beaver, Caribou, Chipmunk, Fox Moth, Mosquito bombers, and the Moth. The Caribou was sold to the U.S. Army; many of the photographs are of the Army training.
