There have been three accruals. There was a small second accrual of 2 letters from Patrick Lane to Fraser Sutherland. The text of one of these letters was transcribed by Fraser Sutherland in his letter to McMaster of 7 May 1976. The location of the two letters is unknown. The third accrual consits of a letter from Lane to Asher Joram (Jack), a letter from Lane to Norman Hart, and b&w print illustrations.

The other letter is to Desmond Flower (1907-) of Cassell's. Flower writes about Nash's work on Urne Buriall in his autobiography, Fellows in Foolscap (1991).

This fonds consists largely of material relating to Calamai’s career in journalism. The files contain professional materials, including research, writing, and items, and some personal materials. There are extensive files for Calamai’s major journalism projects, and there are a large number of files that include clippings and teleprint copies of Calamai’s many news articles. The files also include general reportorial material that Calamai has accumulated during his long career as a reporter. Donated books were removed from the rest of the materials and have been catalogued for Research Collections.

The thirteenth accrual (50-2007) has been arranged into nine series: books, articles, and other writings; public appearances; correspondence; pocket diaries and address book; subject files; news clippings; drawings, photographs and sound recordings; oversized materials. The fourteenth accrual (52-2008) consists of 4 letters to and from T.G. Reed. The fifteenth accrual (2012-001) consists of early writings, contracts, personal and awards, research material, chronological files, printed material, correspondence, photographs and sound recordings. The sixteenth accrual (2013-040) consists of writings; correspondence; personal, art work and graphic publications; subject files and photographs, graphic and printed materials.

The first accrual consists of six series:

Series 1 is particularly significant, containing 12,000 case files documenting the creation of approximately 50,000 thirty-second radio and television commercials produced by Pirate Group Inc. (Toronto office) and its predecessor companies: O’Reilly Radio Inc., Robert Armes Inc., Shurman Armes Crawford, and The Air Company, from 1981 to 2005. These files document the entire production process from the initial phase through to the finished product, though some files are more complete than others. The material found in the file may include: concept presentations; casting sessions and auditions; ACTRA contracts and other actor contracts; script progression and revision; briefing documents; final recording-day scripts with directors notes; recording session schedules; music demos, final tracks, sheet music and lyrics; production edits; final audio mixes, element breakdown of the recording (voices, sound effects, music); final radio and TV commercials; budget estimates, quotations and final billing; etc.
