Coulter, John (1888-1980)
John Coulter, playwright, was born on 12 February 1888 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was educated at the School of Art in Belfast and at the University of Manchester. He taught English and art from 1913-1919 before moving to London to become a drama critic and playwright for sixteen years.
