    Manuscript in Italian on vellum, 28 leaves [first and last blank] measuring 10 by 7 1/2 inches and written in brown ink, chapter headings in red, first capital on a gold and blue background, the others painted in blue. 4to, contemporary full brown morocco over wooden boards, finely gild boarders with large corner fleurons; charming small centerpiece on front cover showing St. Francis receiving the stigmata, Sta. Clara on back cover. Back and corners rubbed. (Wilkins)

    Manuscript was acquired from Dr. Aldo Caselli in 1966. It appears Caselli acquired it at auction; the auction description is pasted inside the front cover.
