The fonds contains many manuscripts of Connell's own books and two which he ghosted, the memoirs of the Aga Kahn and Sir Roy Welensky. There is much correspondence with the literary, political and military world described, amounting to some 14,000 pieces. Its Commonwealth associations include Rhodesia, in the Welensky files; India, in the Aga Kahn, Wavell and Auchinleck files; Canada; Kenya and Nyasaland; and Malaysia and the defence of the British Empire. His library has, except for some rare editions, been dispersed into the Mills Library stacks. The books that accompanied the third accrual have been listed but not yet catalogued.
The fonds contains: correspondence, diaries, plays, short plays and skits, libretti, novel, poetry, short stories, autobiographies, broadcasts, articles, unpublished editorial work, uncompleted work, contributions to publications, publications about John Coulter, subject files, magazines and posters.
There have been two accruals The first accrual consists of an undated 52 p memoir. The second accrual consists of typescripts, personal documents, and printed materials

The collection consists of 4 letters from Masefield to Kathleen Harper, 1955-; a poem “On the Occasion of Her Majesty’s Visit to Canada, 1959”, 8 pages typed and signed by Masefield “For Kathleen Harper, August the 1st 1959”, also a one-page manuscript abridged version of the poem. The collection also contains a b&w photograph of Masefield, signed and inscribed to Harper in 1959 and a copy of Masefield’s play, Good Friday, signed and inscribed to Harper in July 1955.
The collection consists of transcripts of letters written by Mansfield to her father, Harold Beauchamp, 1916 and 1922, as well as transcripts of some letters written by her father about Katherine Mansfield, 1933-1937. There is also one letter from Isabel C. Clarke to Beauchamp, 1935. The transcripts, all typescript carbons, were presumably made some time after 1937, the date of the last letter.
The collection consists mainly of Mansbridge's letters to Leonard Clark. There are also a few manuscripts concerning Mansbridge, Christmas cards, invitations, and announcements relating to Mansbridge, photographs of Mansbridge, and some pamphlets by Mansbridge. This collection was assembled by his friend Leonard Clark. Clark, an educator, author, editor and poet was born on 1 August 1905 in St. Peter Port, Guernsey. He was made inspector of schools with the Ministry of Education in 1936. He died in London in 1981.

This collection (19-1997) consists primarily of 32 letters, 3 post cards, 2 cards, and other enclosures written by Arthur Stringer and addressed to Mary Belle Edmonds, a school teacher from St. Thomas, Ontario. They first met in 1933 on the Newfoundland-Labrador boat cruise.
There have been five accruals. The fonds consists of: correspondence; journals and diaries; notebooks and notes; courses and course related material; manuscripts, typescripts and published material; personal documents; material by others; electronic material, moving images and sound recordings.

The fonds consists of manuscripts and typescripts; correspondence (includes personal, Bertrand Russell, legal, and newspapers); theatre material; book and journals; reviews of her books; and photographs (many of them theatrical) created by and for Constance Malleson in her life as an actress and writer. The fonds also contains manuscripts, photograph albums containing watercolours by Percy French and other materials belonging to Priscilla, Lady Annesley, which document her life as a member of the Anglo-Irish aristocracy.

The collection consists of the manuscript of The Informer as well as five letters. The manuscript is contained in five school-exercise books; there is also a typescript of chapters 1-3, with numerous holograph corrections, 27 pages. There are four letter from Arthur Rogers to Walter Hill, 1926-1927 and one letter from O'Flaherty to Arthur Rogers, 1927.

The fonds consists of three handwritten manuscripts. Pierrot sauvé was published under the title La Rédemption de Pierrot in 1903. Le Songe d'une nuit d'hiver was also published in 1903. Pierrot à Stamboul was published by James B. Sanders in the Revue d'histoire du théâtre 1980 (# 3) : 232-247. The manuscripts are 25, 21 and 13 pages respectively. They are undated, but were probably written sometime in the 1880s. The pantomimes are written in French.
