The collection consists of two photographs taken by S. Thomson of Vancouver, BC:

1. 16th Field Co[mpan]y. C.E. at New Westminster, B.C. en route to Siberia. 16.11.18.
2. C.A.S.C. C.E.F.[Canadian Army Service Corps., Canadian Expeditionary Force] en route to Siberia, New Westminster, B.C., Dec. 9th 1918.

The collection consists of Windridge’s war medals and various military and civilian pins and badges, various service records and discharge papers and a couple of photographs. Included is a matchbox, with a holder made by Windridge with a small Scottie dog figurine, which must have been a good luck charm for him. There is also correspondence mostly from Windridge and his wife to his daughter during the period of the Second World War.

The collection consists of 3 b&w group photographs. They are part of a sequence of photographs, numbered in the top left: 71, 73, 77, 54th Canadians. One photograph is labelled on the bottom: 4th Division Football Champions, 1919; a second is labelled 4th Division, Indoor Baseball Champions, 1919; the third is labelled on the top right, Band. Also in the collection is a card issued by the Food Controller of Canada.

There have been two accruals. The first accrual consists of a telegram, programmes, menus, newspapers, post cards, and a commemorative medal. The second accrual consists of a passport, guidebooks, and a postcard of the Vimy Memorial.
