The fonds consists of two bound black albums stamped in gold “Pat’s Book I” and “Pat’s Book II”. The albums were filled by his father with every document and photograph that could be found of his son’s life. Album II concludes with the story of Pat’s life as written by his father; it is typed and is 99 pages in length.

Ghizi Kirshen-Ijaky collection

Most of the collection is found in an album with the items either taped or pasted to the pages. The remainder is found loose. It consists of news clippings, in Romanian and Hebrew, documenting her career. There is one English language tear-sheet from the Wizo Review about the film “Strange Holiday” as well as one English language review of the play “The Jolly Pauper” staged in Montreal in 1969 where she played the role of a young boy. The collection also contains programmes, including one signed by Grigore Vasiliu Birlic, one of the greatest Romanian actors. There are also photographs, mainly publicity ones of Ghizi, although there are some family snap shots as well. There are two photographs of her gravestone. Finally, there is a handwritten, undated, unsigned poem in Romanian, “Maicute mes” [My Mother].

The collection consists of an Ontario Provincial Police report of a meeting held by Tim Buck in 1939, 4 audio discs duplicated onto 2 audio cassettes containing speeches by Buck, a printed foreword by Buck to litho prints by Avrom Yanovksy as well as the prints, and fourteen b&w photographs concerning the Labor-Progressive Party, Today Magazine, and the International Economic Conference in Moscow in 1952. The Conference proceedings are also included in the collection as well as an offprint of an article by Buck.

The second accrual consists of 3 letters to unknown recipients. The third accrual consists of one letter to an unknown recipient as well as a photograph of von Bülow, inscribed to Annette Essipov. The fourth accrual consists of one letter to Albert Werkenthin. The fifth accrual consists of one letter to Mr. Kapellmeister. The sixth accrual consists of one letter to an "Esteemed Sir".

The collection consists of letters to Reginald Popham Nicholson (1874-1950) and his wife, Mary Elinor Nicholson. Nicholson was a career foreign service officer. After his retirement he became the secretary of the Royal African Society and editor of its journal from 1932-1938 and then served in the Red Cross Foreign Relations Department, 1941-1943.
