The collection consists of an album of b&w photographs taken inside and outside the Oratory The album, bound in leather, was inscribed and presented to Adhémar Raynault, the mayor of Montreal by the committee. The photographs were taken by F.E. Marsan.

Marks of being used as paste down clearly visible. Custodial marks of a previous repository present on each leaf. Rubrication of some capitals and marginal drolleries.

The fonds consists of b&w photographs removed from an album. They are both family and business photographs. The business photographs include one with a group of men standing in front of a make-shift building with the sign “Robert Miller & Sons, General Contractors”. Many photographs show the construction of what appears to be a lock wall with gates. The family photographs include the following: formal family portraits, one of which is captioned “Young Fred”; vacation photographs at the family cottage north of Toronto – one is dated 1904 – with boats; vacation photographs of a trip out West possibly in the mid to late 1910s, including the Yale Hotel and Stanley Park; photographs of various family members in automobiles with one captioned “Packard?”,possibly mid to late 1910s; lakeships, group on a boat, children playing and other photographs. In addition, the fonds contains the marriage certificate of Fred R. Miller and Edna A. Noxon.

The manuscript contains excerpts from all four books of Horace's Odes in Latin, with English notes. As well as words noted in the margin that may be keys to the text. After this follows similar notes on the first book of his Epodes, a page on his Carmen Saeculare, and two pages on his Satires. In the same hand are the summaries to the first two books of Livy's Ab Urbe Condita. The excerpt was dated 28 September 1713.

There is a second hand that added notes after the first, for various recipes including medicine, wine, and ink.

The fonds consists of three handwritten manuscripts. Pierrot sauvé was published under the title La Rédemption de Pierrot in 1903. Le Songe d'une nuit d'hiver was also published in 1903. Pierrot à Stamboul was published by James B. Sanders in the Revue d'histoire du théâtre 1980 (# 3) : 232-247. The manuscripts are 25, 21 and 13 pages respectively. They are undated, but were probably written sometime in the 1880s. The pantomimes are written in French.

The album contains eight portrait photographs of Lorraine taken by Charles A. Aylett, The Hardy Studio, and the Bain Studio. Each portrait has her name and the dates 1914-1932 stamped in gold. The first leaf of the album contains an unsigned poem of remembrance, titled “Lorraine”. It was possibly written by Wilson MacDonald. Found loose in the album was a poem written by MacDonald for Percy Gardiner. This poem has been placed in the Wilson MacDonald collection. Also in the album is a card, dated 1901, certifying that Mrs. Phillip Gardiner of Mount Forest is a member of the Methodist Church Twentieth Century Fund.
